Gem Group is honored to be the official companion sponsor of the summit “Vietnam E-commerce Development: Sustainable E-commerce” and the event “National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day – Online Friday 2023.” The opening ceremony for this event took place on the morning of December 1, 2023, in Hanoi City.
The summit is organized by the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (IDEA) under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The summit will be attended by high-level leaders, including the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and the Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy. Additionally, the summit will feature the participation of leaders from other levels, such as the National Competition Commission, various businesses (Deli, Gem Group, LadiPage, Escrow, Fundiin, AccessTrade, Viettel Post, Sapo, Haravan, Amazon, Vecom, etc.), e-commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Postmart – Vietnam Post, etc.), banks (MBBank, TechcomBank, BIDV, VietinBank, TPBank, HDBank, KBank, etc.), and payment intermediaries (VNPay, ZaloPay, etc.).

The summit aims to implement multiple solutions to promote the development of e-commerce in tandem with protecting the rights of consumers and stakeholders in the online environment. Within the framework of the summit, management agencies, e-commerce platforms, payment intermediaries, and banks will collaborate and sign agreements to participate in the Digital Ecosystem, collectively working to protect consumer rights in e-commerce. This is a significant initiative that supports the construction of a comprehensive ecosystem to foster sustainable e-commerce markets, contributing to the acceleration of the digital transformation and the development of the digital economy in Vietnam.
